Cats and Stuff

gobe: I was asked to design a cat wall sculpture for Arizona’s Humane Society. Yippee! Artists who volunteered were given a metal cat or dog to design for auction to benefit AZ’s homeless cuties. I had to find a way to make it my realistic style, but fit on this cartoonish angular cut-out. With help from some metal sculpture artists at my show, I had a circle welded on and copper wire twisted to make yarn. Wire whiskers, oil painted, and a winky grin. Anything for animals. ♥
